Breaking the Chain of Brokenness

God's power to heal and break chains is like a blacksmith's hammer on a piece of metal. Just as a skilled blacksmith can shape and transform tough metal into a beautiful work of art, God has the ability to transform our brokenness and set us free from the chains that bind us. His power and love are like the heat of the blacksmith's forge, melting away our pain and struggles, and molding us into something stronger and more beautiful than before. Just as the blacksmith's hammer strikes with precision and purpose, God's love and grace can break through any obstacle and bring healing to our lives.
We’ve all experienced brokenness in form, whether it’s a broken heart, a broken relationship, or a broken dream. What if we could find a way to mend our brokenness and find true healing? No matter what we have done or what has been done to us, it can be difficult to accept that we need healing. This brokenness can be a heavy burden to bear and can lead to a feeling of bitterness and cynicism, which impacts us in all areas of our life and can sabotage relationships, destroy families, and cause self-destruction.

There is a way to receive healing and restoration! God’s love is powerful and can heal all of our brokenness and restore us to a state of completeness. In the beginning, when God created the world, He declared it to be “good” and free from corruption, decay, and pain. After the fall of Adam and Eve, sin and shame crept in, and innocence was lost. Thankfully, God loves us so much that through His love, healing can be found in the sacrifice of His son, Jesus. Isaiah 53:5 tells us, “But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed.” Jesus’ death and resurrection gives us the promise of eternal life and healing physically, mentally, and emotionally. Jesus has taken our pain and our brokenness and He has made us whole. He has taken away the shame and guilt and has given us a new life, a fresh start!
With that being said, we don’t have to remain in our broken state. God’s love is more powerful than anything we can imagine. His desire is to bring healing and redemption to our lives. No matter what you have done or what has been done to you, our God is bigger. There is nothing that can separate you from the love of the Father. Again, there is NOTHING that you can do or that can be done to you that will separate you from the love of the Father. He is ALWAYS there, ready to bring healing and restoration.

Remember, no sin is too big for Him to deliver you from. No heart is too broken for Him to mend. We can find hope and healing in His love, grace, and mercy! God is a God of restoration, and He will restore all that has been lost. He can make all things beautiful in His time, and He is the only one who can bring us true healing, all we have to do is invite Him in! ©Rita Larson 4/27/2023
