"Continue To Pray For Israel"

This trip to Israel sure has turned into a bit more than we bargained for. We are making the best of it and grateful that we are safe within the city of Jerusalem. Most stores and shops are closed, and we have a very heavy police and military presence. Our team is making the best of a bad situation and staying vigilant, using wisdom and caution as we move about the day.

As believers in Jesus, we have been given the responsibility to pray for the peace and protection of God's chosen people in Israel. Our prayers are not just empty words, but faith-filled expressions of trust and dependence on God's promises. He has assured us in His Word that He will protect His people, and we can confidently approach Him, knowing that He hears our prayers. With hearts of gratitude, let us lift up our voices and pray for the peace and protection of Israel and everyone present during this horrific time.

One scripture that is a powerful reminder of God's promise to protect His people is found in Psalm 121:4, which says, "Indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep." This verse reassures us that God is constantly vigilant and attentive to the needs and safety of His beloved nation. Our prayers for protection are not in vain because we serve a God who is always watchful over His people.

Another powerful promise can be found in Isaiah 41:10, where God says, "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." These words provide comfort and assurance that God is not only present with His people but also actively working on their behalf.

Another scripture that promises peace and protection is Isaiah 54:17, which declares, "no weapon forged against you will prevail." This promise reminds us that even in the face of opposition or threats, God is with His people, shielding them from harm. As we pray for Israel's safety, we can have confidence that no matter what weapons or strategies are used against them, God's protection will prevail.

Never underestimate the power of our prayers. When we pray in faith, believing that God is able to keep His promises, we are partnering with Him in His plans and purposes for Israel. As we intercede for the peace and protection of God's people, let our excitement be fueled by the knowledge and confidence that our prayers will make a significant impact. We have the privilege of calling upon the name of the Lord, who is mighty to save and faithful to fulfill His promises. So let us press on in prayer, confident that God will answer and bring about His perfect peace and protection upon Israel.

As we unite in prayer, approach the throne of grace with confidence, knowing that our prayers have the ability to bring about supernatural protection and peace. We lift up the nation of Israel, asking for divine intervention in times of conflict and unrest. We pray for God's peace to settle upon the land, calming the hearts and minds of all who dwell there.

Through the name of Jesus, we declare and decree protection over every inch of the Holy Land. We stand in faith, believing that God's promises are true and that He will fulfill His word. We pray that Israel will experience a tangible manifestation of God's presence, as His peace prevails and His protection shields them from all harm. In the Name of Jesus, Amen! ©Rita Larson 10/9/2023
