"God's Waze"

I am traveling for work today and headed to a destination that I am unfamiliar with. I have a few things that I always use when I travel. One is the Waze App. Waze is a GPS that also alerts me to traffic issues and keeps me on the fastest track to get where I am going. Another tool that I use is Life360. I take comfort in knowing that at any time, my husband can look on Life360 and know exactly where I am. It gives me a sense of peace. The most important tool that I have is my very own personal tour guide, the Holy Spirit! “God’s Waze” are always the best ways! God is with me every step that I take, leading me and guiding me along the way!

In 2 Timothy 3:16, the Bible tells us that it is profitable for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness. That means we can read the Bible to get clear direction on how to live our lives and find our purpose in God's plan. Just like a GPS, the Bible will tell us when we have taken a wrong turn and help us get back on track. In John 4:16, God tells us that He Himself came to earth to show us the way. He doesn't want any of us to remain lost, which is why He gave us the Bible to show us the way back to Him. He wants us to find joy and purpose in this life He has given us.
Even better, God doesn’t just give us directions, He also provides us with a destination! God's Word and the Holy Spirit are our GPS, and He is the ultimate destination. We can lose our way and find ourselves on the wrong road or path. But if we turn back to God, we can easily find our way back to Him, simply through repentance. At any time, if we are headed down the wrong road, we can “pop a U-Turn” and go straight to the Father. Anytime that we turn to God, we can trust that He will guide us in the right direction.
So, if you find yourself stuck in life, don't worry - God is here to guide you. While we still have breath, all we have to do is turn back to our Father and use His Word as our GPS. Let's find our way to God and discover the purpose He has for us. Let “God’s Waze” be your ways! ©Rita Larson 5/15/2023
