"Happy Birthday, Brian!"

Today is a day of celebration and joy as my wonderful husband turns 60. I can't help but feel overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible gift that God has bestowed upon me in the form of my soulmate. As I reflect on the journey of our lives together, I am reminded of the restoration and healing that God has brought into my life through my husband. He has been a source of strength, love, and support, always there to lift me up when I am down and to celebrate with me in times of triumph. Today, on his special day, I pray that he experiences the best year yet, filled with abundant health, success, and happiness.

It is all too easy to take our spouse for granted in the busyness of life. We often forget to express our gratitude and appreciation for the incredible role they play in our lives. But today, as I celebrate my husband's birthday, I am reminded of the sacred bond we share before God. We are not just two individuals, but one united by love and commitment. It is essential that we respect, cherish, and honor our spouse, for they are a precious gift from above.

In this journey called life, I have come to realize that the reason I am living my best life is because of God. He is the source of all blessings and the one who orchestrates our paths. When we surrender ourselves to His will and align our lives with His purpose, we open ourselves up to His incredible plans for us. It is truly awe-inspiring to witness the wonders that God has in store when we trust Him completely.

Scripture teaches us that God's plans are for our good and not to harm us. In every season of life, He guides us and provides us with wisdom and discernment through His Word. As I celebrate my husband's birthday today, I am reminded of the importance of giving thanks for the blessing that he is in my life. Gratefulness should overflow from our hearts as we recognize the immense value and impact our spouse has on our journey.

So today, on this special occasion, I offer my heartfelt gratitude to Jesus for blessing my husband with abundant health, success, and happiness in this new chapter of his life. I am forever grateful for his presence in my life and for the restoration that God has brought me because of our relationship. May we continue to cherish and appreciate each other as we walk hand in hand on this beautiful journey called marriage. Happy birthday, Brian! I love you! ©Rita Larson 8/22/2023
