"No Detail is Too Small"

We serve an Awesome who is able to do exceedingly more than we can possibly imagine. He loves us so much cares about everything, down to smallest of details. He knows every hidden piece of our heart intimately, yet still loves us unconditionally!
In Philippians 4:19, Paul writes, "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus." He will meet all of our needs according to His riches in glory. This promise of provision is not just financial; it includes every aspect of our lives. God will restore us when we are broken, heal us when we are sick, and comfort us when we are grieving. He will supply all of our needs, in every area, according to His riches in glory. Following is a great testimony and illustration from a dear friend's Facebook page (with her permission), showing just how much our Father cares about every detail of our life:

"My sweet friend gave me eggs tonight at church. Eggs from her very own chickens. I love that. But what y'all don't know, and she certainly didn't know, is that money has been super tight. God's got us in His hands, so I know everything is going to be ok. Well, I was really proud of my grocery shopping this week. I very carefully planned out our meals, I shopped the sales, got some really good deals, and remembered my paper coupon. Hours after I put my groceries away... the sun beat down on my car, and when I opened the door later on, I realized my precious dozen of pasture raised eggs had been sitting in that hot steamy car all day. I was so sad. I really try hard to save money, and here I was, just throwing it away. I had to trust God that it's gonna be ok. Then, a little over 24 hours later, I'm telling yall the story of me getting some eggs from my friend. (Love you tons, Sarah!) And God spoke to my heart. It was more than just the eggs. He reminded me that he restores what is lost. And he restores in a way that we could never expect. Thank you, dear Lord, for your kind heart. Thank you that you take what the enemy meant for evil, and you turn it for good. And once again, to you, all of the glory forever and EVER and ever."

In Matthew 10:29-31, Jesus tells His disciples, "Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father's care. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows." Just as God cares for the sparrows, He cares for us. He knows every hair on our heads and is intimately involved in every aspect of our lives. We are not alone in our struggles; God is always watching over us. We are valuable in God's eyes, and He will always be there for us.
Psalm 56:8 tells us that God collects every tear in a bottle. When we are hurting, God sees our pain and collects our tears. He doesn't ignore our suffering or tell us to "get over it." Instead, He is with us, collecting our tears and comforting us in our grief. God takes what the enemy meant for evil and turns if for good. God tracks each tear that we shed, so no tear goes unwasted. God will use them to teach us and shape us into who He wants us to be. .

In Luke 12:7, Jesus tells His disciples, "Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows." God knows every hair on our head and wants to be involved in every aspect of our lives. We are valuable in God's eyes. We are not just another face in the crowd; we are uniquely created in His image. He knows our strengths and weaknesses, our hopes and fears, and everything in between, yet loves us unconditionally.
In Psalm 34:18, we read, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." When we are hurting, God is with us. He doesn't turn a blind eye to our pain or tell us to "get over it." Instead, He is with us in our pain, comforting us, mending our hurts, and healing our broken hearts.

Psalm 56:8, Luke 12:7, and Psalm 34:18 are all reminders that God wants to be intimately involved in every aspect of our lives. We are valuable in His eyes, and He will never leave us nor forsake us. We need to trust God completely. We can't always see the big picture, but God can. We need to be grateful for even the small things in life. Every breath we take, every moment we spend with loved ones, and every sunrise and sunset are all gifts from God. We need to give thanks and recognize that they are all part of God's Master plan, down to the smallest detail! ©Rita Larson 5/7/2023
