"One Thing Remains!"

This has been one tough week at work! I am officially exhausted and feeling a little overwhelmed. Knowing that God inhabits the praises of His people, the thicker the muck, the more I praise Him! Flying home today (on the 4th day of flying since Monday), all I could do was put on my headphones and just submerge myself into the love of the Father. A song called "One Thing Remains" came on that I have not heard in a very long time! God knew exactly the reminder that I needed on this day!
The love of God is a constant and unwavering force that remains with us throughout all of life's ups and downs. His love never fails, never gives up, and never runs out on us. This incredible love overwhelms and satisfies our souls, filling us with a deep sense of peace and contentment. We never have to be afraid, for God's love is always there to protect and guide us. In both life and death, we can be confident and covered by the power of God's great love.
God's love is not dependent on our actions or worthiness. No matter what we have done or how far we may have strayed, God's love remains constant and unwavering. His love is not based on our performance or achievements but on His own nature and character. We can walk in confidence knowing that we can depend on God's love no matter what challenges we face!
In times of doubt or uncertainty, we can turn to prayer and connect with God's constant love. Through prayer, we can express our fears, concerns, and hopes to God, knowing that He hears us and cares for us deeply. In the book of Matthew, chapter 7, verse 7, Jesus encourages us to ask, seek, and knock in prayer, knowing that God will answer. His love is unfailing and never-ending!
The Bible is filled with scriptures that highlight the constant and unwavering love of God. Romans 8:38-39, says, "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." This powerful scripture reminds us that there is NOTHING that can separate us from God's great love.
As believers, it is important for us to anchor ourselves in the truth of God's word and depend on His constant love. The Bible serves as a guidebook for our lives and provides us with wisdom, encouragement, and assurance. Psalm 119:105, says, "Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path." As we meditate on God's word and allow it to guide us, we can rest in the constant love that only He provides.
God's love always remains with us. It never fails, gives up, or runs out on us. We never have to be afraid because we are confident and covered by the power of His great love. We can depend on God's constant love to guide and sustain us through all of life's challenges. Let us rejoice in the fact that nothing can separate us from the incredible love that God has for each one of us. God's love is the "One Thing that Remains!" ©Rita Larson 9/15/2023
