Positioned For The Outpouring of Favor!

In the journey of life, we all desire to experience the favor of God. It is a divine kindness, an outpouring of His grace and mercy upon us. The favor of God can be described as a shield, covering us and empowering us to do the impossible. Let's explore the concept of God's favor, its meaning, and how we can walk in it supernaturally.
God's favor is not something that can be earned or merited through our own efforts. It is a gift freely given by God because of His love for us. The Scriptures tell us that "the Lord bestows favor and honor" (Psalm 84:11). This favor is not limited to material blessings or success, but it encompasses every aspect of our lives.
One of the greatest examples of God's favor is the gift of eternal life. Ephesians 2:8-9 states, "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." We cannot earn or deserve salvation; it is purely by God's favor that we are saved.
Walking in God's Supernatural Favor: What does it mean?
Living by faith: To walk in God's supernatural favor, we must live by faith. Hebrews 11:6 tells us that "without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." When we trust in God and His promises, we position ourselves to receive His favor.
Seeking God's presence: One of the keys to walking in supernatural favor is seeking the presence of God. Psalm 105:4 encourages us to "seek the Lord and His strength; seek His face evermore." When we spend time in His presence, we align ourselves with His will and open ourselves up to His favor.
Obeying God's Word: Obedience to God's Word is another important aspect of walking in His favor. Psalm 119:58 says, "I entreated Your favor with my whole heart; be merciful to me according to Your word." As we align our lives with God's commands and principles, we position ourselves to receive His favor and blessings.
Trusting in God's timing: Sometimes, the journey to experiencing God's favor may involve waiting. We must trust in His timing and have patience. Psalm 27:14 reminds us, "Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the Lord!" When we patiently wait on God, He will manifest His favor in due season.
Throughout the Bible, we find numerous examples of individuals who walked in God's supernatural favor. Let's explore a few of these examples:
Joseph: From the Pit to the Palace-The story of Joseph in the book of Genesis is a powerful testament to God's supernatural favor. Despite being sold into slavery and unjustly imprisoned, Joseph remained faithful to God. Eventually, through a series of divine interventions, Joseph was promoted from being a prisoner to becoming the prime minister of Egypt, second in command only to Pharaoh himself. Joseph's journey is a reminder that even in the darkest of circumstances, God's favor can bring about a turnaround. The same God who elevated Joseph can also lift us from the depths of despair to positions of influence and authority.
Esther: For Such a Time as This-The story of Esther is another example of God's supernatural favor at work. Esther, a young Jewish woman, found herself in a position to save her people from destruction. Through a series of events orchestrated by God, Esther became the queen of Persia and used her influence to intercede for her people. Esther's story teaches us that God's favor can position us in places of influence to fulfill His purposes. When we align ourselves with His will, He can use us to bring about significant change and transformation.
David: A Man After God's Own Heart-David, the shepherd boy who became king of Israel, is often referred to as a man after God's own heart. Despite his flaws and failures, David experienced God's supernatural favor throughout his life. From defeating Goliath to establishing a dynasty, David's journey is a testament to the power of God's favor. David's story reminds us that God's favor is not dependent on our perfection but on our willingness to seek Him with our whole heart. When we align our hearts with God's purposes, He can release His favor in our lives.
God's supernatural favor is not limited to the characters in the Bible; it is available to us today. As believers, we have the Holythe Holy Spirit dwells Spirit dwelling within us, empowering us to walk in supernatural favor. Here are some practical steps we can take to experience God's favor in our lives:
Prayer and Intimacy: Cultivate a deep and intimate relationship with God through prayer, worship, and studying His Word. Seek His face and His will for your life.
Align with His Word: Align your actions, thoughts, and words with God's Word. Obey His commands and live a life of integrity and righteousness.
Trust in His Promises: Trust in the promises of God, knowing that He is faithful to fulfill them. Declare His promises over your life and believe that His favor is upon you.
Walk in Love and Forgiveness: Love others unconditionally and forgive those who have wronged you. As we extend grace and mercy to others, we position ourselves to receive God's favor.
Serve Others: Look for opportunities to serve and bless others. As we become channels of God's love and favor, He will pour out His blessings upon us.
Being in the supernatural favor of God is a privilege and a blessing. It is not something that can be earned or merited through our own efforts. It is a gift from a loving and gracious God who delights in blessing His children. As we seek His presence, obey His Word, and trust in His timing, we position ourselves to experience His supernatural favor in every area of our lives.
