"Take It! It is Yours!"

Updated: Jul 31, 2023

Do you need to be healed of something? Are you looking for a miracle? Well, look no further—the miracle of healing is available to all through the precious blood of Jesus. Jesus has made it possible for us to be healed and made whole, regardless of who we are or where we come from. It is available to each and every Believer! It is up to us; we just need to receive it! Take it, it is yours!

Our healing is like getting the mail—it is in the mailbox, but we have to take it out of the box to open it and access what is in the mail. If we don't take it out, it is still there and available to us, but it is up to us to reach in and get it. We need to reach out and accept God's healing power in our lives. We need to believe that God is able to do the impossible and that He is willing to heal us. We just have to receive it!

Luke 5:13 says, “He laid his hands on every one of them and healed them”. God is a healer and He desires to heal each and every one of us, not just a chosen few. All we have to do is receive it. Just like with any other gift, if we don’t receive it, it is still there, but it is up to us to take the gift, open it, and use it!

In Mark 16:17-18 we are given the promise of healing: “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” This scripture is a powerful reminder that if we believe, we can be healed.

Another scripture that speaks of healing is James 5:14-16 which says, “Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” This passage reminds us that when we come together and pray for one another, we can be healed. Matthew 18:20 reminds us that "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them."

The Bible is full of testimonies of miracles of healing. In the Book of Acts, we read about a man who had been lame from birth. When the Apostle Peter commanded the man to get up and walk, he was healed instantly (Acts 3:6-8). This miracle of healing is available for us today, just as it was available for this man. In Isaiah 53:5, we read, “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” Here, we can clearly see that we are healed through the blood of Jesus.

God’s healing power is available to us all. We just need to reach in and take it. It is time for us to speak what the Word of God says and to get a revelation of Who is in us. We can walk triumphantly through any situation because we have God Almighty dwelling on the inside. There’s no problem—no sickness or disease—that can keep us down!. ©Rita Larson 7/31/2023
