"The God of Possible!"

There is simply nothing that my God cannot do! With Him all things are possible! I am on the way to a volleyball game to watch three of our beautiful grandchildren play. I cannot help but think of how blessed I am to have such an amazing family. I have always wanted lots of kids and a big family! After having my two boys, I had to have an emergency hysterectomy. I remember feeling so sad to have that door closed.

Little did I know that God would restore that dream abundantly! When I married my husband, I also gained his four wonderful children! Between us, we have 6 children who have 6 spouses/significant others and 10 fabulous grandchildren. I love them all so much and am so honored to be part of their lives. I never dreamed I could have such a loving family! I am so grateful for each and every one of them!
How can He give us back more than we ever thought possible? The answer is found in 2 Corinthians 9:8, which says, “And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” This verse is telling us that God is able to do more than we can ever imagine. He is the God of abundance!

God is able to do far more than we can imagine! When He restores, he doesn't give us "just enough", He makes sure our cup is overflowing. Psalm 23:5-6, "Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: And I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever."
Isaiah 58:12 states, “And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.” Isaiah 61:7, “Instead of your shame, you shall have double honor; And instead of confusion, they shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land, they shall possess double; Everlasting joy shall be theirs.” These verses speak of God's promise to restore to us twice as much as we have lost, for generations to come. Not only will He restore what we have lost, but He will also give us back more than we ever thought possible!

Lastly, in Ephesians 3:20, we read, “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.” This verse reminds us that God can do so much more than what we can imagine. He is able to do more than we can ask or think. There is no limit to what God can accomplish in our lives. God is truly a Master of Restoration. He can take any situation - no matter how desperate it may seem - and restore it to a place of joy, peace, and abundance. He is able to give us back more than we ever thought possible, and to turn our impossible into possible! ©Rita Larson 6/3/2023
